Give thanks for our freedom and blessings; pray for healing in the land through revival in our churches and in the bringing of many to repentance and faith in Christ. ### NOTE: Sunday Evening Prayer Postponed to July 12th ### REMINDER: July 5th is a quarterly [Family Sunday](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1F8z7fgJE3nv1sIwGN4A3QOhldJ_rMSvIIj1n2MlLDt8/edit?tab=t.0) --- ![](https://churchusercontent.com/2a5f52cb-64b3-4307-b9b3-1c483117b5d3/Jamaica_Relief_2026-01-18T01-47-11-613Z.png) Pastor Billy is doing well on sabbatical in St. Louis. He is thinking ahead about a fall missions trip and sent this announcement: Over the past year, New City has been blessed to sponsor several disaster relief teams to bring gospel encouragement and hope to people in **Jamaica** who have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. We have another opportunity coming up **October 10-17** for any who can join the team. We will be working on a house together of a faithful pastor and his family whose home was destroyed in October last year. They have been living in a damaged building on a bible college campus for the past eight months. Please pray about how you can be involved. *Contact* [*Pastor Billy*](mailto:bmckillop@newcityfellowship.com) *as soon as possible* as we make plans. --- ### Quicklinks - **Youth and Children's Ministry:** [This week's schedule](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1F8z7fgJE3nv1sIwGN4A3QOhldJ_rMSvIIj1n2MlLDt8/edit?tab=t.0) - **Lost and Found:** available in office til July 10. Because prayer is the most important part of the thankfulness God requires of us.1 And also because God gives his grace and Holy Spirit only to those who pray continually and groan inwardly, asking God for these gifts and thanking God for them.2 1 [Ps. 50:14-15](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ps.%2050:14-15&version=nrsv); [116:12-19](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ps.%20116:12-19&version=nrsv); [1 Thess. 5:16-18](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Thess.%205:16-18&version=nrsv) 2 [Matt. 7:7-8](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matt.%207:7-8&version=nrsv); [Luke 11:9-13](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2011:9-13&version=nrsv) --- ![](https://churchusercontent.com/2a5f52cb-64b3-4307-b9b3-1c483117b5d3/Church_Center_2026-01-18T01-17-33-198Z.png) Church Center is a mobile app which helps you can engage with our church throughout the week.
