We want to invite you to *help us close this gap early* so our ministry leaders can focus on serving our community today with confidence, rather than waiting for a year-end catch-up. Thank you for your continued partnership in kingdom ministry. --- ### Thank You Thank you for your support for our neighbor, Mrs. Weems. She and her family are very grateful for the love shown to her by New City members! I think she is ok for now. MANY thanks for the church's generosity! 💕 Sandra Smith --- ### **Caregiving Survey** Reminder that our church is partnering with bēkn (pronounced beacon) to better understand the needs of seniors, caregivers, and families in our congregation and community in addition to finding our compassionate hearts & hands for support. Why did Christ command us to call God “our Father”? A. To awaken in us at the very beginning of our prayer what should be basic to our prayer— a childlike reverence and trust that through Christ God has become our Father, and that just as our parents do not refuse us the things of this life, even less will God our Father refuse to give us what we ask in faith.1 1 [Matt. 7:9-11](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matt.%207:9-11&version=nrsv); [Luke 11:11-13](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2011:11-13&version=nrsv) --- ![](https://churchusercontent.com/2a5f52cb-64b3-4307-b9b3-1c483117b5d3/Church_Center_2026-01-18T01-17-33-198Z.png) Church Center is a mobile app which helps you can engage with our church throughout the week.
