Though not a Presbyterian, Dr. Perkins’ vision for Christian Community Development and biblical justice helped our denomination move toward a more robust, multi-ethnic witness. From addressing the 1978 General Assembly to mentoring PCA leaders, he taught us that the Gospel heals both souls and social structures. We honor his legacy of "quiet wisdom" and his favorite truth from Galatians 2:20—that he was deeply loved by the Son of God. May we continue his work of reconciliation and hope. During the week, please call the Church Office and let us know you'll be bringing items. On Sundays, you can drop items into the containers located in the foyer, at the Children's entrance (glass door) and Rudy's Room. Please do not bring any items not listed. **Sweet peas, spaghettios, peanut butter, crackers (plain), fruit cups, instant potatoes (pkgs), rice sides, corn muffin mix, oatmeal packets, grit packets, cereal, ramen noodles, canned meats and spaghetti sauce.** When possible, flip-top cans are best for recipients.
