1st Sunday Prayer
Not meeting this month. Will resume May 3.
Time to Invite!
Easter (April 5) is one of the times when people who normally wouldn’t attend church are most open to coming. That means each of us has a meaningful opportunity. Who is someone in your life who might come if you invited them—a coworker, neighbor, or family member? Pray about one or two people you could invite and take a moment to reach out. A simple invitation can make all the difference.
Pre-service Fellowship Hour
Come at 9 am for an extended time of coffee and refreshments! (No Sunday School -it will resume next week April 12!)
Higher, Higher!
If you missed the service last week (or want to catch a highlight again), here our New City Next Gen leading us in worship on Palm Sunday.
This month we will have Family Sunday on March 29th, Palm Sunday. If you would like your children to be involved in the service, contact Percy.

Property Improvements
The Lord continues to bless us with some property improvements. First of all, thank you deacons and deaconesses for organizing several workday projects this weekend. Secondly, work begins next week on a fence around the large grassy area between Rudy’s room and Third Street for better safety for our children. Thanks to Chattanooga Christian School for raising funds for that. And lastly, we begin a renovation of the ladies restroom in Rudy’s room next week that will enlarge it, allowing easier access. Please excuse the appearance while we make these improvements. And thank you, Lord, for these blessings.
Discover New City April 10-11
Are you ready to engage more fully at New City Fellowship? This Fri. evening, Saturday morning seminar is a great next step to learn more about the church (our beliefs, vision, values, ministries, and meaningful church membership) and to spend some time with our pastors in a classroom setting. The class is required for those who wish to become members of the church.

Come out with your whole family and eat chili and play corn hole! While you eat chili you can watch corn hole or donate straight to our youth trips this summer! If you can’t come out on April 12th there are items we still need, so sign up today! This is an all ages welcome event!
James Ward 50th Anniversary Worship Concert
As we celebrate our church's 50th year, there will be special events throughout 2026. On April 23rd, there will be a concert featuring James Ward's worship songs that were written and shared throughout our history. This is to be a night of worship and praise to our glorious King, who blessed our church with mission, with people who came to serve, and a worship style that supported that mission. The concert will be at 7:00pm and admission is free. An offering will be taken for the technology needs of our music department. If you are unable to attend, you can donate here.
Women's Conference April 25
Our TVP Women’s Ministry is hosting a conference for all women in the presbytery, “Body, Bride, and Building,” at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga on Saturday, April 25, from 9-3. Paula Miles, a PCA Women’s Ministry trainer and speaker at many PCA conferences most recently at “Made for More,” will be our speaker. She has written a study on Hosea and a new study for the summer on II Corinthians.

Heidelberg Catechism #103
Q. What is God’s will for you
in the fourth commandment?
A. First, that the gospel ministry and education for it be maintained,1
and that, especially on the festive day of rest, I diligently attend the assembly of God’s people2
to learn what God’s Word teaches,3
to participate in the sacraments,4
to pray to God publicly,5
and to bring Christian offerings for the poor.6
Second,
that every day of my life I rest from my evil ways, let the Lord work in me through his Spirit, and so begin in this life the eternal Sabbath.7
