Back to School!

Good Morning Friends!

First full week of the new school year is underway! How can we be praying for you all? What events do you have going on that we can come cheer you on? Please text/email us and let us know! Band, sports, concerts, whatever! We'd love to celebrate and share in your gifts and joys.

With prayer in mind, we wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the Prayer Campaign starting back up this year with a lunch on Aug. 30th. What this entails is every student getting two adults at church who will be committed to praying for them for the school year! It is a wonderful blessing to get to know the adults at church who will walk you through this school year in prayer. Even if you don't always feel comfortable sharing everything, it will be a comfort to know there are more adults who are bringing you before our loving Father every week. Parents, we need all of you to sign up to pray for a friend of your child(ren) too! We are sure you will find it a blessing to be in intentional prayer for your kids' friends! Let us know ASAP about committing as a prayer champion.

August Dates

- August 16th & 23rd- No youth group meeting.

- August 30th- Prayer Champion Luncheon from 11:45 to 1:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Come meet the adults who will be praying for you for the school year!

Fall Discipleship Groups will start in September! Please reach out to the Youth Department about your child(ren)'s involvement! It is one of the greatest blessings of our jobs, and we hope many will grow to look and love more like Jesus through the power of the Spirit moving in these groups.
