Hi @first-name , periodically we want to remind you about the opportunity to receive the sermon recap/devotionals that are emailed each week on Sunday afternoons. Just opt in here.
And please pray for Pastor Kevin as he attends our denomination's General Assembly this week in Louisville, KY. If you're unfamiliar with it, The General Assembly (GA) is the highest governing body of the PCA. It is an annual national meeting where elected church leaders (pastors and ruling elders) represent local churches throughout the U.S. to vote on denominational policies, handle high-level judicial cases, and coordinate national ministries like missions and church planting.
What is Juneteenth?
Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally received news of their freedom – over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth is intended as a profound reminder of God's liberating power, calling for reflection on the ongoing struggle for justice, equality, and the full realization of freedom for all people. It's a day to celebrate progress and recommit to ministry of justice, mercy and reconciliation.
Important Memo from the Deacons
If you are approached on church property by someone requesting money, food, gas, or other assistance, please do not provide assistance directly. Instead, kindly refer the individual to a Deacon or Deaconess, who will be glad to respond according to our church’s established process. Click here for more information about the deacons' policy for responding to requests for financial assistance and panhandling. We encourage all members to familiarize themselves with this policy. Thank you for helping us care for those in need in a consistent, wise, and compassionate manner.

Heidelberg Catechism #114
Q. But can those converted to God
obey these commandments perfectly?
A. No.
In this life even the holiest
have only a small beginning of this obedience.1
Nevertheless, with all seriousness of purpose,
they do begin to live according to all, not only some,
of God’s commandments.2
