October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we invite our Grace Church family to join us in thanking God for our pastoral staff. We are grateful for the ways they serve our congregation, share God’s Word, and seek to honor the Lord. Scripture encourages us to “esteem them very highly in love because of their work” (1 Thessalonians 5:13). As they encourage us in our faith, we have an opportunity to encourage them, too. Take a moment this month to pray for our pastoral staff, share a personal word of thanks, write a thoughtful note, or offer a small token of appreciation. Simply letting them know how their ministry has touched your life can mean so much.

Get Ready for Fall Festival

Mark your calendar for an evening of food, fun, and fellowship Sunday October 25 from 4-6 pm! We will have games, crafts, trick-or-treat booths, and more. Wear your favorite costume and invite your friends, family, and neighbors to our Fall Festival! And there's lots of opportunities to get involved. We are looking for adults, families, and small groups to sign up & man a Trick-or-Treat Booth. Sign up HERE. We are also looking for help with Food & Candy Donations, Set-up, Food Service, Games/Stations at the Festival, & Clean-up. Sign up HERE. More info HERE or contact Percy Rolleston or Gianna Rakes.

Monthly Mercy Ministry Giving Opportunity

Grace was never meant to stop with us; it’s meant to flow through us. This Sunday is Communion Sunday, and we invite you to participate in a special tradition of the early church by bringing a special offering of mercy. These gifts allow our Mercy Ministry to care for the vulnerable in our midst in real, immediate ways. It’s not intended to take the place of our regular giving to the church (tithes) but rather to be an extra or special gift as you are able. You can give online here, or for checks, put “mercy ministry” or “deacons” on the memo line.
